Mr. Leon Chan completed his solicitors' qualifying examinations in 1977 and was admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong in 1980. He is also qualified in England and Wales and in the state of Victoria, Australia in 1984. He received his Postgraduate Degree of Master of Business Administration from Birmingham University in 2012.
Mr. Leon Chan was a member of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Panel from May 1993 to May 2008 and Panel Chairman of the Appeal Tribunal Panel against decision of the Building Authority from 2007 to 2012.

Miss Wong graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1996 with LLB and PCLL qualifications. She was admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong in 1998.
Miss Wong is in charge of our Litigation Department and specializes in civil litigation. She has extensive experience in contract disputes, defamation, disputes relating to intellectual property rights, injunctive relief applications, debt collection, construction disputes, property related disputes, personal injuries and fatal accident claims, professional negligence claims, Court of Protection applications for the appointment of committees under the Mental Health Ordinance, probate and administrative proceedings, landlord and tenant disputes, and matrimonial and children disputes and criminal work.
Mr. Kenley Mak graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 2003 with LLB and PCLL qualifications. Mr. Mak started his two-year traineeship with our firm and has continued to serve as an associate in our firm upon admission as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong in September 2005. He became a partner in October 2010.
Mr. Mak is now in charge of the Commercial Department of our firm. He has extensive experience in private company and commercial work including acquisition and disposal of companies or businesses, corporate or business re-organization, establishment and operation of business organizations such as partnerships and joint ventures; agencies and franchises, commercial contracts and banking matters. He also advises on criminal, probate and tenancy matters.
Mr. Jimmy Lam graduated with a degree in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics in 1998. He attained his CPE qualification (commendation) from the College of Law, London in 2000 and completed his PCLL course in 2001 at the University of Hong Kong.
Mr. Jimmy Lam was trained as a personal injury litigation specialist. He qualified as a solicitor in 2003 with Messrs. Munros and remained with that firm until mid-2005 when he joined the personal injury group of Messrs. Baker & McKenzie. He subsequently joined Messrs. Chu & Lau. He rejoined Messrs. Munros as a partner in July 2011 before joining our firm in October 2012. He became a partner in October 2013.
Throughout his legal career, he has specialized in personal injury litigation. He has extensive experience in employees' compensation, third party liability and motor related matters, with particular focus on acting for insurers. He regularly advises insurers on policy issues and other commercial disputes.
He also has extensive experience in general tort, criminal litigation, white collar and commercial litigation, employment and liquidation works. He has also given seminars to construction companies associated with insurers on construction site safety, and in-house seminars on tort (including occupiers' liability).
Miss Anita Chan graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1983 with LLB and PCLL qualifications. She also holds a LLM degree from the City University of Hong Kong and another LLM degree from the Renmin University, Beijing, PRC. She was admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong in 1985. She is also qualified in England and Wales, the Australian Capital Territory in Australia and Singapore.
Following her admission, Miss Anita Chan worked for Messrs. Tsang, Chan & Co. from 1985 to 1986, Messrs. K. M. Lai & Li from 1986 to 1989 and Messrs. Edmond H. C. Wong & Co. from 1989 to 1991 as an assistant solicitor. In 1991, she joined Messrs. Deacons as an associate. Then in 1993, she joined Messrs. Tong & Tsoi as an assistant solicitor. In 1997, she joined our firm as a consultant.
Miss Chan specializes in litigation and is the supervisor of the Personal Injury and Insurance Claims Section of the Litigation Department.
Miss Daisy Yip graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1992 with LLB and PCLL qualifications. She was admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong in 1995. She is also qualified in England and Wales in 1997.
Miss Yip completed her traineeship with Messrs. Lau Chan & Ko from 1993 to 1995 and became an associate in mid-1995. She then worked for Messrs. K. F. Wong & Co. since January 1998. In August 1998, she joined Messrs. Ng and Partners and worked there for more than seven years before joining our firm in January 2006.
After graduating from the LLB and PCLL programmes of the University of Hong Kong, Miss Lee commenced her traineeship since September 2014 in Messrs. Tsang, Chan & Wong, Solicitors, and Notaries Agents for Trade Marks and Patents, during which she specialized in the area of personal injuries litigation.
After her two-year traineeship, Miss Lee was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in January 2017 and thereafter she worked as an Assistant Solicitor at Tsang, Chan & Wong, Solicitors, Notaries and Agents for Trade Marks and Patent.
During the years, she defended employees' compensation claims and personal injuries claims for various insurance companies. She also had experience in handling property damages claims and pursuing recovery actions on behalf of the insurer clients.
Starting from April 2017, she joined Y. T. Chan & Co., Solicitors and Notaries as an Assistant Solicitor.
Ms. Lau qualified as a solicitor in 2015. She joined Y.T. Chan & Co. after her traineeship.
Throughout her traineeship in Kevin L.H. Kwong & Co., she mainly work in the area of conveyancing, sale, purchase and mortgage of properties. She also has experience in the matter relates to will and probate.
Mr. Chan was admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong in 1999. He is a general practitioner and has been in active practice in Conveyancing and Tenancy, Wills and Probate, Matrimonial Litigation, Civil and Criminal Litigation. He was appointed as a Civil Celebrant of Marriage in 2008.
Mr. Chan completed his traineeship with Messrs. S.K. Wong & Lee from 1997 to 1999 and became an assistant solicitor until mid-2001. He then worked for Messrs. Vivien Chan & Co. and Messrs. Susan Liang & Co. Starting from March 2002, he joined Messrs. Ford, Kwan & Company and worked there for more than fifteen years before joining our firm in September 2017.
Mr. Chan now mainly handles conveyancing and tenancy related matters.
Mr. Tse graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Social Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2004. He attained his LLB qualification from the Manchester Metropolitan University and HKUSPACE in 2011 and completed his PCLL course in 2013 at the University of Hong Kong.
Mr. Tse was admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong in 2016 and subsequently joined Yiu & Associates. He joined our firm in June 2018.
Throughout his traineeship and subsequent practice as a solicitor, Mr. Tse has focused on litigation work and has attained extensive experience in handling general and commercial contractual disputes, land disputes and matrimonial proceedings.
Ms. Pang was admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong in 2016 and joined our firm in February 2019.
Throughout her traineeship and subsequent practice as a solicitor, Ms. Pang has focused on litigation work and has attained extensive experience in handling general and commercial contractual disputes, wills and probate, land disputes and matrimonial proceedings.
Ms. Kwan qualified as a solicitor in 2019 with Messrs. Y. T. Chan & Co. She mainly represents insurers in personal injury cases and employees' compensation claims since 2015. She specializes in personal injury and employees' compensation work with a focus on motor accidents, construction related accidents, third party liability and policy disputes. She also has experience in general tort, criminal litigation, debt recovery, bankruptcy proceedings and wills and probate matters.
Mr. Nick Chum joined our firm in December 2019 as an associate specialized in personal injury litigation mainly acting for insurers.
Mr. Chum completed Juris Doctor in 2014 and PCLL with Distinguished Scholarship Place in 2015 at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Before entering law school, he obtained Bachelor of Arts in Translation at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and was a management trainee of a leading petrochemical company headquartered and listed in Hong Kong.
Mr. Chum was trained as an insurance defence specialist, with solid training in other areas of law, which included general civil / criminal litigation, matrimonial matters and more.
Mr. Chum was qualified as a solicitor of Hong Kong in August 2017. Before joining our firm, he was with Messrs. Philip K. H. Wong, Kennedy Y. H. Wong & Co., where he engaged mainly in insurance defence, in addition to a wide spectrum of other matters, which included civil litigation, legal opinions, commercial, probate and conveyancing matters.
Mr. Hadrian Leung graduated from Juris Doctor (2014) and PCLL programmes (2015) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. During his traineeship, he received training in general practices, including but not limited to general civil and criminal litigations, personal injuries claims, matrimonial causes, wills and probate, and conveyancing. He was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in October 2017. He continues to engage in various areas of legal service upon admission.
Mr. Leung joined our firm as an Assistant Solicitor in January 2020 with focus on insurance defence.
Mr. Herman Chan acquired his professional qualifications in 2005 (LL.B. from London University (External Program) and PCLL from City University of Hong Kong).
Mr. Chan joined our firm as a trainee solicitor in August 2009. He has continued to serve as an associate in our firm upon his admission as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong on 7th May 2011. Before his legal career, he was a Superintendent in the Hong Kong Police Force and had served the public for over 36 years.
Mr. Chan mainly handles Criminal Litigation and Company matters.
Mr. Arthur Lui graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1990 with LLB and PCLL qualifications. He also holds a LLM degree from the City University of Hong Kong. He was admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong in 1992.
Mr. Arthur Lui served his articles with Messrs. Wong, Hui & Co. from 1991 to 1992. Following his admission, he worked for Messrs. Albert Leung & Co. for one year. In 1993, he joined Messrs. Szeto & Yeung and became a partner of that firm in 1996. Mr. Arthur Lui joined our firm in 2003.
Mr. Arthur Lui handles conveyancing, and civil litigation work including debt collection, matrimonial, landlord and tenant, bankruptcy, intellectual property and probate matters.
Mr. Eddie Tang graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science. He obtained his LLB (external) from the University of London in 1990.
Mr. Tang served the Labour Department of Hong Kong Government as a Labour Officer from 1979 to 1989 where he was responsible for labour relations and employment matters.
Mr. Tang served his articles with Messrs. Philip K.H. Wong & Co. and Messrs. Vincent T.K. Cheung, Yap & Co. Upon admission as a solicitor of High Court of Hong Kong in 1991, he joined Messrs. Yuen Sung & Co. as an associate and became a partner in 1993. In July 2002, he joined Messrs. J. Chan, Yip, So & Partners as a consultant. He joined our firm as a consultant in January 2005. He is also qualified in England and Wales.
